here where the dark roots of midnight

entangles itself in the frail womb of damnation

a quivering brush of springs quaking blush

over a canvas of wintered landscape and i weep
in the perilous shiver of departures acquiescence
as a whimper of loss escapes me

footsteps of amnesia hazing in wistful echoes
and i a charred whisper on the
decease of her remembrance diminished;
like the ferocious nightingale of songbirds conquest

i’m forgetting her in the stillness of rosewoods flutter
a paling kiss pressed against the debris
of covens withering monarch whitening
frosted lacerations across a river of
lasts breaths depletion silencing me
in the trembling harmony of her shatter
